Dr. Faith Wandera serves as Deputy Director of Renewable Energy in the Ministry of Energy, Kenya. She holds a joint PhD in Strategic Business Management from Moi University, Kenya/Aalborg University, Denmark. She promotes sustainable energy policy, and successfully coordinated the development of the Kenya Sustainable Energy for All Action Agenda (2016). She has over 32 years’ experience in the energy sector, and is currently coordinating the transition to “Universal access to modern energy cooking services by 2028”. Current priorities include the Kenya National Clean Cooking Strategy and the National Electric Cooking Strategy. She also coordinates the implementation of the GCF Climate Friendly Cooking Project in Kenya.
