Uchenna is an economist and a socio-economic researcher. He has been key part of several research projects across two research organisations where he has worked, as well as global research consortiums like the African Economic research Consortium (AERC) and the Global Development Network (GDN). Uchenna is a fellow of Applied Development Finance under the European Investment Bank – Global Development Network (EIB–GDN) applied development finance fellowship Programme. He is currently a research fellow at the centre for climate change and development, where he co-led the macro-economic modelling component of the deep decarbonisation pathway project. In addition to his econometric skills, is able to use the low emission analysis platform (LEAP) tool, and KLEM (a compact CGE modelling tool). Additionally, he has been an integral part of just transition research projects that the centre is undertaking in collaboration with global institutions like ODI and WRI. Uchenna was part of the team that drafted the Nigerian green industrialisation scoping paper under the Ukama platform.
